There are two different types of Video camera mounts for aerial videography. The smaller mount is not gyro-stabilized and is good for occasional use for short duration clips. The larger mount is gyro-stabilized as is necessary for live broadcasts and for high-quality longer duration clips. The balloon will always have some motion, without stability the motion is noticeable in the video. Both systems are only sold with the Kingfisher balloon platform.
Cameras Supported:
• Sony HC-9 - both mounts
• Canon XHVIA - both mounts
• Canon XH-1a -gyro-stabilized mount only
Features:

Blimp compared to Kingfisher
The blimp system, which includes a back up ball, can fly in winds up to approximately 15 mph/24kph. The camera gimbal is mounted directly below the balloon. The blimp and ball do not require a winch to hold the tether line.
The Kingfisher, even a small version, can fly in winds up to 50 mph/80kph. In the smaller size necessary for the point and shoot cameras, a winch MAY not be required. However, in higher winds a winch is necessary to hold onto the tether as the balloon will pull in excess of 100 to 150 pounds. With the Kingfisher, the camera gimbal is mounted 10ft./3m below the balloon on the main tether line using the included aluminum or carbon fiber triangle.

Graphics Requirements: Vectored art works best for all graphics since they can be resized without loss of quality. Typical programs used for vectored art are Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw! and QuarkXpress. (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .cdr, with all fonts converted to curves) Rastered art will work only for digital graphics but MUST BE ACTUAL PRINTED SIZE. Anything smaller will not reproduce well. Typical programs used for rastered art are Adobe Photoshop and Paintshop Pro. (.jpg, .tif, .psd, 100dpi) Rastered art is not useable for vinyl graphics. Digital graphics are only available on white or two-toned inflatables.
